Chicken Noodles

Delicious and easy-to-make, Chicken Noodles are a perfect quick meal for any time of the day. Packed with tender chicken, colorful vegetables, and flavorful seasonings, this dish is sure to satisfy your cravings.

Ingredients:
  • 250g boneless chicken, thinly sliced
  • 200g noodles (any type of your choice)
  • 1 onion, finely sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped spring onions for garnish
  • Chili flakes or fresh green chilies (optional for spice)
Preparation:
  • Cook the noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a bowl, marinate the chicken slices with 1 tbsp soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Let it sit for 10–15 minutes.
  • Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the marinated chicken and stir-fry until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Cooking the Noodles:
  • In the same pan, heat the remaining vegetable oil. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  • Add onions, carrots, and bell peppers, and stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until tender yet crisp.
  • Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), vinegar, and sesame oil. Stir to combine.
  • Add the cooked chicken and noodles to the pan. Toss everything together to coat the noodles and vegetables in the sauce.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and chili flakes (if desired). Stir-fry for an additional 2 minutes to combine all flavors.
  • Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve hot.
