Savory Chicken Chinese Noodles Delight
Chicken Noodles
Delicious and easy-to-make, Chicken Noodles are a perfect quick meal for any time of the day. Packed with tender chicken, colorful vegetables, and flavorful seasonings, this dish is sure to satisfy your cravings.
Ingredients:
- 250g boneless chicken, thinly sliced
- 200g noodles (any type of your choice)
- 1 onion, finely sliced
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped spring onions for garnish
- Chili flakes or fresh green chilies (optional for spice)
Preparation:
- Cook the noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, marinate the chicken slices with 1 tbsp soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Let it sit for 10–15 minutes.
- Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the marinated chicken and stir-fry until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Cooking the Noodles:
- In the same pan, heat the remaining vegetable oil. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add onions, carrots, and bell peppers, and stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until tender yet crisp.
- Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), vinegar, and sesame oil. Stir to combine.
- Add the cooked chicken and noodles to the pan. Toss everything together to coat the noodles and vegetables in the sauce.
- Season with salt, pepper, and chili flakes (if desired). Stir-fry for an additional 2 minutes to combine all flavors.
- Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve hot.
